I had to get surgery for medical reasons and there is now a raised scar on the side of my face by my ear/sideburn about a fingernail's length and shaped like a large cartoon teardrop.

Right now it's purple and the doctor said he would put some steroid injections in to make it less raised. I've been struggling with this and also am a lifelong follower of stoicism but it is really hard.

How will this affect me in terms of trp? Honestly just looking for a way to push forward
