There are two relationship definitions for women:

Single

Married

That's it. If I don't know a woman's relationship status, I might throw in "your husband" in there. If she says "I have a boyfriend", I'll ask "What do your husband think about that?"

Boyfriend => why hasn't he married her => let her stress about the reasons.

"I have a boyfriend" in womanspeak really means "I have a guy who I'm really not that into" or "I have a guy who doesn't want to marry me because I have faults." Let's focus on letting her hamster spin over her faults rather than a non-committal relationship.

Obvious answer is who gives a shit, but OP is looking for lines as a new RedPiller he believes in the PUA side of it, and not so much MGTOW. We all were in this phase of the basic understanding of red pill where we just wanted to get laid. So here ya go OP, here's mine.

OP,this very question is a mistake. If you no longer have sway over her sexually, you must let her go. By asking this question, you are at risk for a cuckold type situation. You have absolute control, or you have none. This is brutal, but it is truth. Embrace it, and move on.

If a guy I'm talking to casually (friend of a friend, met at wherever we are, sometime students as I correct homework, etc) mentions his ex or something that's slightly sexual I will casually fit in that I'm engaged whilst painting my fiance in a positive light - a trick I learned here that works wonders. It's very easy to bring up a partner when the person you're talking to has already said "my ex", "I love your dress", "what are you doing later?", etc. If the guy continues along the same vein I walk off to talk to someone I know better. In work settings I haven't encountered anyone who persists. Previously, in casual settings I would bring up my fiance (and previously as my boyfriend) whenever I thought the guy was getting too close, but sometimes neglected the "positive light" aspect.

In short, if a girl really doesn't want it, she'll mention a partner when you advance or if you bring up an ex. If she practically gushes over the guy, then she's probably happy. If she badmouths him she's probably not (or has labelled you as a potential orbiter). If she's neutral, push a little more to get a positive or negative overview: some of us genuinely think (as I used to) that simply using the boyfriend line is enough. If she feels you're pushing too much or realizes you want sex when she doesn't, she will walk off. If she stays it's because she wants to; nobody's handcuffed her to you (yet).

Now some guys see this as a covert sexual rejection and are all butthurt and in some cases that might even be true, but often it means that you are a blib on her sexual radar, you have made it to the list of potentially sexworthy men, but she is just taken.

Now, given that I am in Europe and probably a bit older than you, that might not be universally applicable so I would do this:

"Do you hav a boyfriend? Girlfriend? Polyamorous entanglements?"

If she is any fun at all, it will be "Polyamourous entanglements" or "its complicated".

Then you simply ask "Well, do you have room for one more!?!" and see where that goes.
