Hey guys, I am pretty new to all of this and honestly I wish I knew a lot of this stuff from the Red Pill earlier. My roommate linked me all of this shortly after the breakup and I've been reading. So here is the full story

About two+ years ago I've met this girl who I immediately clicked with. We were just friends but she got relatively stuck with me. We were very open to each other and at the time I had a gf I was kind of in the process of cutting ties with as well as talking to about 2-3 other girls. I would tell her pretty much everything, and she was pretty "sheltered" in a way so in her eyes I was probably a fuck boy. I was rough with her and would tease her and stuff, the generic thing but I never really considered her as more than just a friend. She didn't really like the girls I would talk to, and some would even be jealous of our friendship.

A year into our friendship, things changed and feelings started getting in the picture. I might have drunk texted her a few times telling her I liked her and eventually she gave in too and our "relationship" sparked even more but we still were just friends. At the time I was still talking to other girls, and according to her friends she was always jealous about this. She would shade me about them, and slowly I began to cut some of them off. According to her friends though, I didn't do it "fast enough".

6 Months into our relationship/friendship/didnt know what we had/ my EX basically cut me off and she was my bestfriend at the time of like 4-5 years so it affected me. And I told the girl about it. She acted normal and just tried to help but according to her friends she cried over this because I was still talking to my ex. She never told me this though. Time went on, and we got more closer/physical and eventually I did cut of all my other girls and made it official with her. Nothing went wrong, it was pretty good we would tease each other/ect fight and go back to each other. Her friends told me she was obsessed and have shown me screenshots of their convos with her. I was literally her first "love".

We lasted "officially" for about 2 months then 1 day something happened. She stopped replying for days straight and I had to ask her friends what happened to her. Apparently one of the girls I cut off ties with, one of the girls who was always jealous of me and her harassed her on Instagram. When I brought it up to her she basically was really mad and told me she was done with all of this. That my past always affected our future. She told me a lot of harsh stuff and basically dumped me that day. She didn't even want to call or meet for this, it was all through text. Two days later she told her friends we were over. Her two girlfriends were really supportive of me and they tried to ask why she was doing that. Her response was literally listing the fact that I was talking to 2-3 girls (even though we weren't anything at the time), that I didn't cut them off fast enough, that I still talked to my ex (even though we weren't official either), and that the girl who harassed her was my fault because she told me to not talk to her but I still did (again we were just friends then). She basically used my past as the excuse.

When her friends tried to bring me up a week or so later, she would just be dry. And they told me its because she knows that if she talks to them about it she will rethink a lot. She also told them she would stop replying to me because she doesn't want our spark to restart. However, she still replies to me just very dry and harsh. It's been a month+ now and I really messed up and tried talking to her, again just her being dry or harsh to me. Our last chat was about a week ago were I just wished her happy eid. She replied back just to wish me the same. I didn't bother replying.

My question is, I am just confused as how she did this so easily when literally the previous month she was a different person. I have already read the light switch but I still don't know what to do to get her off my mind. Part of me is still optimistic that we might speak in the future, because I am not really trying to get a relationship back I just miss my friend. I also feel like the fact that I tried talking to her just boosted her ego more. Its funny how the roles switched because before she was the one coming back to me.

On another note, her two girl friends are pretty close to me and they actually tried helping me. I have for a few days now stopped talking about her to them and told them that I didn't want to talk about her. I don't know if its wise to get closer to her friends because I do remember she would get jealous if I was a bit flirty with them but at the same time I feel like she might think its a poor attempt of me to try to get in her head. I like talking to them but I don't know if its going to end up good or bad for me in the long run.

I deleted her off snapchat and most socials after the breakup because I didn't want to see. But she has yet to block me off imsg and will reply to me if I text her almost immediately just very rude. Her friends also follow me on twitter and they like and retweet almost everything I post (LOL) so I know she knows they talk to me.

I don't plan on ever texting her again because that was a beta move on my part, but I do hope we can speak again someday but I won't let her comeback to my life so easy if that happens. I just don't know whats best for me at this moment since I seem to think about her still.

Not sure if this matters but we are both relatively young (under 20) so I am not sure if younger girls are more emotional and do things like this based on emotion alone or if all girls are like this regardless of age.
