Please tell me if I am wrong:

So last night, I was supposed to pick up my girl from either her house or the country club where she and her family dined for dinner. She called me at 9:58 PM and told me that after dinner her and her cousin went to a local bar to grab a drink and that she wanted me to pick her up from there at 10:30 PM. Then I asked if I could join them and meet her cousin since I’ve never met her before (she lives in Florida). My girl said “nah, we are having some girl talk, just come scoop me at 10:30) of which I agreed to.

I decided to go to bar 20 min early and guess what I saw? My girl getting out of a Lyft. I got conflicted so I asked her why the hell she was in a damn lyft after she had just told me 10 min ago that she was inside bar and needed 30 min. She goes on to say that the reason she was in the Lyft is because her cousin was heading back home to sleep and my girl’s purse was in her bag. As she tried to take the purse out of the bag, everything fell apart, into the car. That’s why she got into the Lyft and driver made a loop around the bar as he didn’t wanna cause traffic congestion in front of bar.

Do you really believe that story? Am I paranoid or you think she lied? I feel like she was at some dude’s house and that’s where she got Lyft at
