Went on a date with a girl I know. She showed definate IOI's. Playing with hair, touching me. She put her legs on my lap at the restaurant. We made out in the parking lot and at her place. All over each other. We had to call the night early due to some emergency she had come up. The next day she texts me and says she had fun, sorry for ending the night early and can't wait to see me again

We had agreed to see each other later in the week. On the day we are supposed to meet she tells me she will let me know when she is done with some stuff and we will hang out after. I never heard from her and we haven't talked since. She obviously blew me off but a few days earlier she couldn't wait to see me.

I keep wondering if I did or said something wrong on the date to turn her off. But if so then would she have initiated the text the next day saying how great the night was? I have know her for awhile and she seems to go hot and cold with me a lot. Hot in person and constant kissing, then over text and setting up meet ups she gets flaky.

My friend said its because I'm what she thinks she needs but not what she wants. As in she is a biker girl into motorcycles and fast cars and I drive a Toyota so I'm not the bad boy type she is looking for. Too "straight edge" Does that make that much of a difference? I'm sure there is probably a dude or two she is going back and forth with in the background
