I’m posting this both to seek advice, and also affirmations I’m doing the right thing.

I’ve lived by myself ever since university and have recently been offered a two year contract near my parents house in a largely rural area.

The opportunity to live with them and pay only a third what I would in rent and utilities is a great opportunity to going into savings overdrive. It helps me achieve my long term goal to buy my own home, so I can save for my future, and not pay 1/3rd of my salary on rent for someone else’s mortgage.

Most of my friends don’t care, I have a plate about an hour and half away who I can stay with, and I’m ready for any teasing or shit tests that come with it.

“oh, you live with your parents Silver?”

“Yep, my mum irons my shirts too”

It’s a bit frustrating not being able to entertain people at my own place, but I have my own car for the first time(Previously living in metropolitan UK cities) So I’m making a habit of driving around a-lot and visiting friends.

I doubt I can establish a LTR in my current position, but I have opportunity too much money to make right now.

any tips or opinions on my situation and frame of mind would be appreciated.
