I have a friend that's a girl... I befriended her in hs. She is the only "reliable" friend I have in my vicinity as I Make plans with her and meet occasionally. We have our fair share of differences. I'm athletic, frugal, read and focus on self improvement . She just focuses on college and work. Although I've tried to let the relationship die she comes back and hits me up. Usually when I drop a friend it's because they've failed me which she has yet to do. She has no bf rn when in the past she has had sexual interests. Today she asks me to go out to eat. After rejecting that I realize I have no idea how to give her a fun time without getting her attracted to me. Being with her most of the time I have to temporarily act the eunuch. Which I could get away with because I had the food we were eating to entertain me. She brings no value to me in the long run. In the short run we go places to eat or to explore and discuss our relationships. I because I read so much more than her give her valuable Input 90% of the time. I don't learn anything and don't feel a particularly strong bond. Do I break it off even if it means feeling fake? Or do I let it be as it takes such a small portion of my time away until either me or her move away? No it's not oneitis. I have other females I fuck and are more attractive then her, we even talk about it when we chill. During hs she was a cool girl to talk to and instead of letting her go I wrote in her yearbook that out friendship could continue as long as she hit me up. She took this to heart and might feel obligated to not give up on the friendship. Can ya see why I ask you folks? Am I overthinking?
