They make me cringe... They remind me much of when I was a schoolboy and someone did something stupid and had a defense of, "I just wanted to see how people would react." Yeah... Sure you were... "Social experiment"

However, these aren't going to go any time soon. It's easy money for the creators. Young people and idiots eat this shit up.

What annoys me most about so many of these posts is that 5 seconds of searching would turn up another thread in which they could comment, but they're too lazy to do that, so the overall quality of the subreddit is reduced.

It's a problem that all fora have with new members, and reddit's open door policy, whilst a good thing, encourages a certain amount of this behaviour.

Oh, and congratulations on mod status.

This is a great step, because they very rarely add anything of value. They either state the obvious (women like fast cars and men look at beautiful exposed tits... ya don't say) or they are so dubiously put together they can't be trusted as a source for new information.

Maybe update the posting rules page, since it's quite old and while most of these requirements are based on existing rules, newer members or people who don't see this post have no way to know. If nothing else it should help reduce the number of post you'll have to delete.
