Is a lot of experience resulting in higher validation and self-confidence?

This is not about gender equality or double standards. Would you say that having a lot of sex partners (higher n-count) gives someone more validation and therefore self-confidence? Given that sex was consentual, a lot of people wanted to be intimate with this person? Do you think, that couples with very unequal n-count have different levels of validation and are therefore not on "eye-level"?
