Title.

M, 23, well paying corporate job in a top 3 US city.

I’m a latecomer to TRP and I spent a year post college going monk mode, reading the sidebar/top posts, upping my SMV, and learning to swallow harsh realities of life/women.

At around the year mark this summer, I finally felt comfortable enough/confident enough in my own skin to start plate spinning.

I meet most of my plates via Tinder/Bumble (which up to this point in my life I have never used) Tinder/Bumble but also IRL. I am very selective on dating apps and would consider most plates as attractive, though not model quality despite being the average in this city being quite higher than other cities IMO.

In short: I’ve gone on 14 dates between the 2 apps and managed to plate exactly 50% (or half) of the 14.

Unsurprisingly, I’ve done better on Tinder (6 of 7) than Bumble (only 1 of 7). Most of Bumble’s lack of success can be chalked up to either lack of experience (got too drunk on 2 of those dates and fucked it up) or dwindling interest on my part where I went on a date or two with a girl, made out with her and realized they were seeking something more serious so I subsequently dropped them.

1) Is this an ideal percentage and if no (or yes), where can I improve?

2) How common is it to get a fairly high percentage of matches on these apps but a lower percentage of actual meetups? Is there a guide to improving game on the apps?

Thanks in advance.
