First, you are exes for a reason. Remove trash from your life.

Second, you both still have feelings for each other, so you will never be able to just be plates, because if that were true you'd be searching for strange and not focused on your ex.

Third, those feelings mean you know how to push each other's buttons, creating unnecessary drama and fuzzing the line. Again.

Fourth, all this bullshit distracts you from your goals of finding a new woman that isn't already residing in your head.

Fifth, it encourages laziness and complacency because you can just get all you need from a familiar source, so why bother making the effort to go find some strange.

Sixth, You are immediately dropped a few notches in her eyes if you do bend over and take her back. Speaks to weak character, lack of options, and soft boundaries.

Seventh, you're more prone to put up with bullshit from her because of your emotional connection, easier to give her the pussy pass to keep her around.

i dont know the nature/dynamics of your relationship but if a girl is able to dump you and get back with you when she wants, that establishes her as the A side. you didnt move on to your many options after she left you, you waited for her to be ready to deal with you again. this shows that you need her more than she needs you.

an ltr is a deal where you give each other certain benefits. to turn her to a plate would be to take all of them away and just leave sex. most people wont sit and accept that
