Hey guys, this is not exactly about seduction, as I don't intend to seduce this girl, but I thought that it might be related somehow, as I think I did several mistakes that took me to this situation.

My story is the following... 5 years ago I moved from my home country to Europe (~10000km distance) with my gf at that time. She pushed me to get married, and then we got married and she dumped me 1y later.

At that moment I was feeling very depressed, I went to use a lot of alcohol and drugs to "cope" with the situation, which didn't help, of course.

Then I met one of my co-workers, and this girl started talking a lot with me, asking how I was, asking about my ex, she seemed very nice and we had a lot in common, but she has a bf, so in the beginning I was trying to avoid getting into deep conversations, etc... but she was often coming to me, texting me a lot... several times I woke up with her messages. She used to say things like "If you need someone to talk, I'm here"... or saying how I deserve someone much better than my ex.

I checked how was her relationship and it was fine... so I decided to not try anything, but our co-workers often asked me if there was anything going on between us because we were becoming very close to each other.I met her bf and he is a nice guy, which makes me feel even stronger on not trying anything.

I was feeling lonely after my divorce, after realizing I didn't have any friends here, and I started treating her like I would for a male friend, including telling things about my failed dates attempts.

I've tried to ask her to hang out a few times, she always had an excuse, and I was ok, she probably was afraid that I would hit on her... I understand thatThen, in the last couple months, I met some male friends here and started hanging out more often with them, trying to get some social life, and I was feeling better... however, I was drinking a lot, and often I sent her messages while drunk... things like sharing what I was doing. She also did text me drunk once, but only after getting home.

Besides that, I was feeling that my life was improving so I decided to do a housewarming at my new house, after almost a year living there and some people from work encouraging me to do that (including her).

She was the 1st person I told about the housewarming and I have decided the date based on her availability.

But then... on Friday just before the housewarming we had a boat party from my company, and I got drunk...I was texting with her during the party, she was sending pictures of her trip... asking how the party was going, etc

Then one girl from the office accused me of harassment to another girl, this other girl came to tell me... the boat was full of people, there was no place that I could have done anything... we were dancing, that is it... that thing hit me very hard, I got very scared, I started crying and I have sent an audio to 2 friends (on my way home), one male friend in my home country and to her...My male friend was very supportive and encouraged me to stop drinking, while she only replied with "don't worry", which is ok.

Since then I decided to stop drinking at all and scheduled a session with a therapist. But then, I have created a group on Whatsapp for the housewarming... 3 minutes after I have created the group she left, which made my anxiety level goes up... she was on vacation, so I texted her directly to ask if she was not coming to the housewarming.

She hasn't replied until the day she was back to work... and then she replied in a very harsh way, saying that she was not coming, that I was dragging her to my dramas again and that the audio was pathetic.I replied saying that I got really scared at that moment and she was one of the few people I trusted to talk

Then, she blocked me...

Since then, we haven't talked to each other... we work in the same company, but now we don't work int he same floor anymore and we barely see each other. And I have cancelled my housewarming.

I thought that open up with a female friend should be ok as there was no sexual intention attached.

She was never that rude to me, never said anything about things I could change to improve... I considered her my best friend here. Now, sometimes I think about going in person to her and ask to talk... but I don't think it can improve anything... I thought about saying sorry for my attitude, but my past experience tells me that saying sorry also don't get you anywhere... so part of me says that it is over and just move on, forget about her, which I guess I should have done long ago, we don't have any future together, not even as friends. She is moving to another continent beginning of next year and probably we won't talk again.

But part of me wants to try to make her at least understand me and not having harsh feelings between us.

She clearly lost respect for me and I can't see a way to get it back

I'm M36, she is F24

I don't know what to do now, how to approach this situation, eventually we might talk to each other, should I just pretend we barely know each other? If she brings the subject should I make it lighter and say that I was being a whiner? Should I ask to talk to her in private face to face? Should I just let it go and move on?
It really makes me feel very bad, I want to solve it, I want to solve this situation in the best possible way.

What do you think?
