Preface: me = former nice guy, huge beta, I suffered through an abusive relationship for 8 years with a crazy ex so a lot of my views towards women are a bit twisted.

Background: So I met this girl (7.5) a few months ago at grocery store, got her #, scheduled a date. The date didn't happen for unimportant reasons and so I pretty much forgot about her until last Friday when I randomly texted her at 2am. Next day she responds, we grab coffee, I try to go for the kiss but fails as she says "no its way too early for that, dont tell me you do this to all the girls." I didn't say anything in response.

Later that night we go to a rave and I pretty much ignored her most of the night (mainly because I was rolling). She's not the hottest but has the typical slender raver girl look so the entire night guys were nonstop hitting on her and trying to dance with her. I ended up dancing with her a bit near the end but didn't bother escalating since we were with a large group and I knew it wouldn't go anywhere. I think overall my behavior impressed her since she was constantly coming back to me all night.

So two days later I invite her out for a drink near my place, we head back to my apartment as I told her I wanted to show her something EDM related. We end up making out in my bed. During this time she asks me "what are you looking for?" and I said "someone special" and then she said "that's such a bullshit answer". I tried to escalate but failed, disengaging/reengaging didn't work and soon she left.

The next day she starts texting me a lot, trying to plan out the next rave with me, sending me pictures, following my IG and started commenting on my posts. etc etc. I usually dont respond to any comments, she msgd me saying "aww I didn't get any response on my comment" which I ignored.

Situation: Between last Friday and yesterday, I managed to end my lease with my building and plan to move out of state this month. The entire time I didn't tell her about this plan since I wanted to smash and thought that chicks would leave if they found out I'm leaving at the end of the month as it ruins any potential chance of a LTR (which is what women want). She's 29 and I'm 30 so I was pretty sure she was looking for a LTR.

Today I texted her "ok so I'm moving out of state the end of this month, should have told you earlier but yeah". When I sent this I expected an angry response back like "Why didn't you tell me earlier? Why did you hide this?" But instead, she says "that's great! I'm happy for you to pursue your dreams" (since I told her at the bar that I may be moving by November to another place that's more conducive to my music career). I said "do you still want to see me?" and she said "I'll see you till the day you leave."

Now I'm a bit confused. Based on my previous interactions with my exes, they always hated it when I hid stuff and the moment I revealed something that was negative, they would lash out, cry, or guilt me saying shit like "why didn't you tell me earlier? Why did you hide this from me?" and "you're a terrible person." But this girl's response kind of surprised me. My thinking is this:

  1. She's not actually looking for a LTR so does not give a shit that I'll be gone in 1.5 weeks
  2. She's secretly pissed and crying at home but putting on a happy face over text
  3. She thinks my SMV is much higher than hers so knows she doesn't have the right to get mad

What do you guys think? No comments like "wow i cant believe you're thinking this much about one girl" please, this isn't really about her, I'm trying to understand how my interpretation of girls may be twisted and what is a normal interpretation of the situation. Thanks for any advice.
