I've asked around on multiple subreddits and lots of different anonymous social media apps. The basic consensus is that while I'm not ugly or deformed or anything like that, I'm not attractive either. I'm somewhere between average and slightly below.
I'm 22, white, 5'8 :(, and 135 lbs. So it's not like I need to lose weight. I do need to (and will try very hard to) put on muscle, but to be honest, lifting will have almost no effect on my face since I'm already skinnyish.
I've never had a girlfriend or had a girl be genuinely interested in me. Sometimes I feel like love is possible for me since there are lots of average guys who supposedly find love (I mean I have a brother who looks exactly like me and he's happily married and had multiple beautiful girlfriends) but sometimes I feel like it's just completely hopeless. Girls never seem much interested in talking to me, always giving me few word replies and never asking questions about me. I get almost 0 matches on dating sites and I've tried them all from Tinder to Bumble to OkCupid and lots more. I've had countless girls stop talking to me as soon as I sent them some pictures of me (after they asked).
The simple fact of the matter is that I am just not that attractive. What advice would you give to a guy like me?
