Anyone here who've been in a situation where woman didn't want to go out with you on a first date when you asked her, then after months she starts giving you attention and want you to notice her?

I have to say that I'm not all that experienced with women, but my approach is direct, I don't waste time and I ask on a date so we can get to know each other.

I have couple of girls that was flirting with me at first and then I asked them out, both rejected me. And I ignored them and moved on, now half year after they are coming into my orbit and want me to notice them.

My first thought was that their options are not on the table as it was before when I first asked them, so they're trying to see whether I'm still available. These girls are hot and have bunch of orbiters around them.
