You know, there exists some species of insects (mantis for example) where, after reproduction, the female eats the male alive.

And i thought: that is also true today in humans, especially in the west. Of course she doesn't literally eat you, but she eats all you have, you kids, your sanity, your peace of mind etc... everything... you remain just a shadow of what you were...
