The problem then becomes, what authority do you have to hold anyone accountable for anything? Just because you, yourself, personally, think that what someone else does is wrong or criminal, that doesn't automatically make it so. What makes you think you're the "rightful minority" in this case? What is it exactly about being that minority that gives you the right to enforce your will on others?

See, if we were to vet these laws through the democratic process, then even if the law that results isn't what we'd consider the ideal, at the least we can say it has the mandate of the people behind it. Sure plenty of shitty laws get passed - segregation, miscegenation bans, sundown towns, child labor, at one point all of these things were legal. It wasn't some angry mob "rising up" and randomly jailing people that put a stop to these things. It was the democratic process.

So no, you don't get to say who is and who isn't "rightful." You don't get to say that a certain group - a "rightful minority" in your example, gets to automatically rule and impose their will on the rest of us (even if that happens to be something you believe is morally superior.) If you don't like the law, then you're going to have to use the democratic process to change it, just like everyone else. That means that the "hateful majority" gets to have a voice in forming those laws as well.

Sorry but that's simply not true. The government does have a right to impose their will - it's called "enforcing the law." The law applies to you, whether you like it or not, and whether you agree with the law or not. Businesses also have the right to hold authority over their employees, as long as that authority is exorcised within the law.

My big issue is when things are mandated by government law. This tramples upon the minority and doesn't give them breathing room to withdraw from society's rules. You have no right to honor kill or rape because it destroy's someone else's agency rights.

That's the thing - you don't get to withdraw from society's rules. You can't just say "I don't feel like obeying the law," then go off into the woods and start raping and killing and illegally downloading movies and shit. If you live in this country then the law applies to you, end of story.

If you don't like the law, then you can work to get it changed. But that doesn't mean you get to no longer obey it.
