Certain women who are feminist still think that the man needs to pay for the whole meal and or their lifestyle, especially if the woman doesn't work.

I must say that this hasn't been my experience at all. I find nowadays virtually all women are willing to pay half even on a first date.

I would be lying if I said that I didn't encounter any self-identified feminists who were hypocritical in terms of their dating practices. But:

1) In my anecdotal experience, they were still the minority of self-identified feminists I have dated. So the hypocrisy would be indicative of humans being hypocritical in general, and not anything intrinsically hypocritical about the movement.

2) Even if most women do say they want and expect these things out of men, most women don't identify as feminists.
