Cis, I think there is a conflation error here between HSW's question and your response. Let me see if I can unpack it.

As you know, I am not a TRPer; I am an RPer. /u/drok007 and /u/TheGreasyPole have discussed this important distinction, and I believe that distinction is once again brought to the forefront here.

It looks to me like no authority has ever claimed that the anger isn't 100% legitimate.

I believe very few, if any, TRPer or RPer finds that the anger expressed on TRP is illegitimate--that is, not reasonable. I greatly sympathize with those expressing anger, and I completely understand, in the current environment, why they might feel the way they do.

That, however, does not follow your question presented:

The "true red pill"--RP--was never and will never be based on anger. It is based on the principles of rational egoism and traditional masculinity--wisdom that a father typically passed on to his sons through teaching and experiential learning. I, and many of the RPers never went through an "anger phase." This, of course, makes sense: traditional masculinity (the patriarchy) is not based on anger.

Let me be very clear: that does not mean TRPers' anger is not legitimate (it is), but to say that anger is the core of "the true red pill" is incorrect.

Ultimately, when a BPer asks me, "Look, see this guy on TRP is angry," I respond something like: "Yes, he is, and his concerns are legitimate and need to be discussed, but his anger is not core RP."

I do. This is why I identify as RP and not TRP. TRP has a lot of things correct about human nature and how men and women interact. However, I don't need to be "angry". It's just how things are. I was successful before I found TRP, I just think its correct.

In order for what you are saying to be true, you have be under the assumption that all TRP are troubled guys who are trying to reform their omega incel status and are in a stage of grieving about it. That's not the case, the success template exists outside of it objectively. There is a archetype that TRPs are trying to emulate (just as atomistic philosophies like a similar identity). There are people who embody that and they are RP, they just aren't like TRPs who need help. It's not like sexism is even unique to TRP or anything, it's been around for millennia.
