Last night I get a text to hang out with an old plate out of the blue after we haven’t seen each other for a couple months. She’s drunk, says she can be over in 10 but asked if I can take her home in the morning. I didn’t want to take her home so I tell her I’m tired and have plans in the morning.

Now my fwb/potential-for-something-more (or I thought) texts me the same night a few hours later asking what I’m doing. Turns out she’s also drunk which I haven’t known her to do anything like that since we started hanging out a couple months ago and probably wants to come over at 3. She texts again at 5 AM “hey call me when you’re up.” This text wakes me up and I reply to come over. She says she’s too drunk, had a girls night out, and seems like she’s home already, but she’ll come over early before we go to an event the next day so we can fuck. After feeling a bit disrespected, I text her stating I just had a chick do the same thing (text me when she’s drunk), it turned me off, and I blew her off because of it. Let her know I’m disappointed and to “let me know now if you’re going to make this part of your routine.” I’m waiting for a reply at this point. I also sent her the text convo from my old plate so she knows I’m not bull shitting. She’s cool if I get with other chicks, but I’ve let her know in the past that if she wants to fuck me, she’ll only fuck me.

Did I take it too far? Would you have done the same thing? Should I have done something different?
