Freemasons?

Yeah that’s true. Recently raised to third degree.

OP, like other men have stated, it depends on you and it’s very true that you get out what you put in.

Freemasonry is a RELIGIOUS fraternity. One of the requirements is “belief in a supreme being and the immortality of the soul”.

If you can answers yes to those HONESTLY in whatever framework you justify your place in the universe with then you may make it.

For me personally, I like to say that Freemasonry has only added to my life and not taken anything from me. It has deepened my faith and appreciation of family values, has made me a more upright man, honest, and faithful.

Has it robbed me of my animalistic violent sub brain? No of course not, but that’s normal. Freemasonry charges its members with subduing their animalistic tendencies in favor of a more upright and present mindset.

Besides the amount of events I go to, it gives me a home base of operations that the brothers convene at a minimum of twice a month, and fosters fantastic friendships across its fraternal bounds. I meet a mason, we are brothers, regardless of where we are from.

It is however a monetary and time commitment. We include the women at some events so they can see their husbands and boyfriends aren’t off in the woods somewhere a few days a month sacrificing goats... well... for the most part at least.

I’ve loved my time as a Mason thus far and wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s become an extremely important part of my morality, day to day life and nearly taken over my social circle, but that’s just me.
