Is it, at any point, okay to overtly tell a LTR that a certain action is not something you'll put up with.

For example, my LTR, for the first time ever talked with me disrespectfully, via text. It was only one text to which I did not respond.

I was wondering if I should bring it up and tell her that that was the first and the last time I will tolerate that, once we meet up(I know that I most likely will have to follow up on my boundary and walk soon after that) or is that never an option and it makes you look like a manchild- a short time dread should be implied instead?
