I thought Breaking Bad was pretty RP.

Beta family-provider nice-guy protagonist got diagnosed with cancer, forced himself to rethink life and what he wants to do for HIMSELF. Great plot, great character arc. The protagonist transforms from being a pussy-whipped dysfunctional soft dick to a Level 999 IDGAF Mandingo-Zulu Warrior dick, realizing his true Machiavellian nature.

You'll get to see a lot of the RP concepts in that show (ie. becoming the prize, self-valdation, etc).
