The amount of times I’ve seen guys buying their girlfriend expensive gifts (designer - gucci, LV etc.) disgusts me. Why do you have to spend so much on her?

Keep in mind they’re all around my age (~17 to 18).

I’ve seen this been particularly common around teenagers of my demographic (young Asian teenagers) and not much white people, European etc..

With that out of the way, what the fuck do you get your girlfriend for her birthday? Do you buy her an expensive gift, take her out, what do you do?
