Recently met this girl, had some banter with her and the next day she comes to sit with me during a class but it got very awkward very quickly as I didnt expect her to sit next to me because I didnt know her at all. Anyways move a day forward and I meet her with a friend and have a good time with her- get to know her and tease her abit. During the convo she tells me I seemed unapproachable because I had stern expressions etc., however my friend standing next to me defended me saying I was quite chill. Tbf I think the girl was right as I dont smile much expect when I am with my friends and I try to show coldness.

How do I become more approachable? I am coming to realize that my thoughts of me being a weirdo/creep are all in my head and girls probably dont approach me because I look unapproachable, but I also want to come off as bold and assertive.
