I’ve been participating in TRP and askTRP on various accounts for over 7 years and I’ve never seen it so dead. TRP sub gets just a few posts a day and a majority of the time they’re links to someone’s shitty TRP themed blog that they’re trying to make a go of. I’ve checked out other forums as well and it seems to be the same thing. Hardly any actual discussion and a whole lot of bitchfit fights between competing “personalities” who are trying to build their own little gangs of followers that I don’t give a shit about.

It seems to me that TRP has become infested with people who are just trying to make a quick buck by commercializing TRP. I don’t begrudge anyone trying to make a living but where did everyone go? What happened to discussion and field reports? It seems like a vibrant community has just dried up.
