I learn how to engage with women, I get them interested and meet up with them, but here's the problem:

When I vibe really well with them I just lose my cool. I'm getting impatient, needy and don't react aloof if they behave sketchy or in a red flag manner (partying, getting too drunk, taking too long to reply etc.)

So basically I'm "alpha" when engaging and getting to know them, but as soon as I find a girl that I like the company of I turn "beta" because I rarely find girls that really entertain me apart from sex resulting in me losing the girls I would wanna keep around and keeping the girls I don't really want.

What are your tricks to stay cool and patient? Especially recently I lost my cool when a soon to be plate told me she drunkenly fucked her ex. I don't know how to brush that off and fuck her myself like nothing happened.
