Okay this isn’t the most coherent “bio” since I’m headed to class, but bear with me: I️ am a 23 year old Christian woman with conservative values on sex and dating. My lack of sexual history makes me what a TRP guy would consider a “unicorn.” Nevertheless, I️ also believe in mutuality and equality in a relationship — expressed in different ways — something healthy. Politics is extremely important to me in choosing a partner. I️ lean to the moderate right and am extremely libertarian/doubtful of government. That said, I 1000% support LGBTQIA since I️ believe the government has no business involving itself in something as personal as a marriage. I️ am up on certain issues that some would deem “conspiracy theories” (things being headed in the direction of an eventual world government, for example). I️ would love to be appreciated by someone without being slammed as a Bible Beater or weirdo. I️ would love to be able to talk about these things. I️ cook, I’m diligent, and have resolved 99% of emotional health/life issues I’ve had. I’m easygoing.

Where I️ started to worry: I got on that new dating app called “The League,” and the first guy I️ matched with had “TRUMP” in his bio as one of his “interests.” This didn’t bother me much at the time. I️ don’t like Trump, but I️ understand why people voted for him so it’s not like I️ was gonna discriminate...you know? Anyway, this guy was hyper-enthusiastic and kept oversharing all this info about himself, and asking me very personal questions as if to get any red flags out of the way. He hinted that he was controlling, and got really enthusiastic about me when I️ said I️ was republican and knew how to cook, and wanted a family one day (all questions I️ answered...sigh). Then the questions verged into shit like “would you ever get plastic surgery?” and partner count. I️ pulled a slow fade out as I️ realized this had way too many red flags for me. Looking back, however, it made me wonder if I’m attracting that type of guy. Any time I️’ve shared the fact that my personal values are traditional, the normal sort of frat bro kinds of guys I’m around either didn’t pursue me (likely out of no great chance of getting laid). But then these alt-right types love it. They always seem to manage to come out of the woodwork, and it scares me.

So...am I️ doing something wrong? What demographic should I️ steer clear of? I️ don’t want to invest my time in someone only to find out they’re TRP or alt-right. Are there any outward tells? Stuff they tend to major in? Do they have a certain aesthetic? Jobs they tend to have? I️ want NOTHING to do with any of them.
