Bit of a long one, but it occurred to me earlier out of the blue that I've had a few girls in my life say that I'm really weird, or creepy looking, yet about 95% of people I think I've ever met in my life have felt the complete opposite. Now, you could say based on that observation, "what the fuck is he even worried about?", and I would agree. It's not important, but I am interested in the psychology behind it.

For example: There was one girl I had quite a big crush on back in my teens who started hanging around in the social group more, and more. I wasn't anywhere near Red Pilled back then, and this is when I was exploring who I was, and learning how to interact with women, and people in general after a long hiatus of depression.

She used to make comments towards me like, "You look like a serial killer", "You look psychotic", "Creepy" etc, etc. At the time, I started resenting her for it and just ignored her. Went about my life, and grew into myself more, and became more confident - formed different social groups. Years later, I was on Tinder one day, and I see I've got a notification for a new match - and lo and behold, it's this bitch from years ago. Still looking good, but been through the trenches with relationships, and kids.

We chat briefly, and I flirt around a bit, and it doesn't take long before she starts talking about our teens - To my surprise, she says that she always fancied me, found me attractive and didn't really explain why... And I didn't ask why either.

That's one example, and on the flip side of that, here's another recent one (Bare with my autism): A cute girl from less than a year back catches my eye, and she darts a smile my way, and we flirt and chat for a bit, until a plate of mine comes over and cockblocks me, and then I find out she has a boyfriend later anyway. I knew this girl 110% was into me, not just from talking to her, but some of her friends are also my friends and confirmed that after. Anyway, cockblocking plate goes away, and the cute girl's relationship ends. A couple of weeks after finding that out, I start to strike up a convo on social media, and after talking for a bit, she starts getting defensive and just tears into me seemingly out of no where calling me, "a douche, creepy, weirdest looking guy she's ever seen, trash", and then blocks me, and I'm just like..... OK then.

I'm not a fucking novice. I've hooked up with more women than I can count at this point (humble brag), and the majority of them have been far better looking than either of the two I just mentioned. So where does this level of arrogance come from? I even evaluated to see what mistakes I made with the latter chick, maybe she was just going through some shit, maybe I am truly a douche. I just could not understand it, and frankly wasted a lot of time trying to - thankfully she doesn't know that.

What is happening here? Is it all a matter of SMV perception?
