So this plate I've been seeing for a 4 months is away for a couple weeks over Christmas and so I decided to get her a card and small gift, as we have been doing alot of couple stuff so I thought it was heading that direction, however she didn't get me anything, not even a card.

Then the day after she asks if I want to be in a proper relationship with her and I shut her down, saying I like the way things are and she takes this fairly well and agrees. But I'm confused because if she felt that way about me, wouldn't she want to get me something for Christmas? I chose not to mention anything to her about it and was just non reactive, she didn't apologise for not getting me anything or even mention it. Did I make a mistake? Should I have said something?
