How to find Devout Christians my Age?

Devout Christians are rare anywhere, not just Australia. The solution isn't to look harder. The people who often come off as "devout" really aren't "devout" at all. They're pious. They have an appearance of being "devout" because they "devote" so much of their time, money, etc. to churchianity, but they're not actually doing the work God called them to do. They're not making disciples. They're not sharing their faith. They just serve in 3-4 different ministries and show up to all the volunteer projects their congregation schedules so they feel like an all-star to the guy who calls himself a pastor.

If you want a truly devout believer to connect with, the best way is to disciple someone into being the exact type of person you want to relate with in the first place.

There's a process I've seen play out a few times and it goes something like this

Find someone with a following who espouses a world view comparable to yours
Connect with this following. If the person has an active social media profile (I'll use twitter as the main example), follow some of their active followers and others that they retweet often
Be active. Find some people in that sphere you like and respond positively to their posts. Share their content. Post stuff that the sort of people you're trying to find will connect with.
With some dumb luck you learn that a few of these guys are in your area, or with some dumber luck they were someone you'd already met IRL but never connected the dots.

This seems to be the main way that people on social fringes are able to connect these days. It's definitely a struggle, but kind of crazy how often I see this happen

You’ll bump into them at work, or online, if you spend a lot of time in large Facebook groups.

Someone will ring true with their comments and you’ll check their Facebook page and instantly know they’ve a Christian too. And not a wimpy washy one, but a serious one.

All the strongest Christians I know live all over the world and we talk through messenger.

dont get in the mindset that people arent Christian enough for you. be a good enough example that people follow your lead, as Christ himself did.

At my uni Christian fellowship group there is an overabundance of Christian girls. How long have you been in Australia? What city do you live in? How old are you? What is your mission? Stats?

but here in Australia where most are Atheist or cultural Christians it becomes hard to find like minded people.

I found like-minded people within 1 day of uni at the most radical left leaning university in the country. There are so many Christians in Australia, you just need to get on your mission and you'll bump into them as u/Deep_Strength said.

You need to be going to Churches and inter-denominational events, AND be actively engaged in your mission for God. Your mission for God is the most important, as a side effect of it will make you more attractive to women. You can also ask devout family and friends to network. There's going to be no greater chances than these.

If you're conventionally attractive, online dating could work for you.

Everything else like just meeting people at bookstores, coffee shops, different sports, or wherever is extremely miss and rarely hit. You're likely to encounter more cultural Christians than true Christians.

Are you Protestant? Look for churches with Reformed or Evangelical in the name and see what clicks.

Catholic circles tend to have very strong youth circles particularly through university societies.
