Amen. But I'll quickly add that as Christians, we must not lift merely to be attractive to women. There are many non-esthetic reasons to lift:

Your body is God's temple
It is a testament to hard work, discipline and self-control, all godly characteristics
You live longer
You increase chances of survival if you get involved in an accident
You can defend yourself better (or better yet look so intimidating no one will mess with you)

We are designed by God to be attracted to beauty. We will never be able to change that about ourselves, so in order to honor God with your body and influence other towards Christ and to strive towards sanctity, get lifting. I'm making progress in the gym and it's really helping me in so many other areas.

Lookism is a dark reality for those with lower tier genetics. It's easy to get sucked in and consumed by it.

WE ABSOLUTELY SHOULD LIFT. But don't do it to gain approval from others. Do because your body is a temple that God has commanded you to take care of. Do it because it aids you on your mission.
