I'm a 3rd party delivery driver and I drop off food to people's houses. I see this cute girl every now and then at one of the restaurants I frequently go to. She locked eyes with me with a look of intrigue, so I knew she was interested. We had a conversation and she contributed evenly which is a good sign. I told her my friend was having a pool party in a week, invited her, took her number and told her I only knew the day but I'd let her know the rest of the details by Wednesday when I see my friend again. After the party I plan on taking her somewhere else for something one on-one.

Here's my issue. I see a lot of these other dating forums (Non-Christian of course), that say things like "you need to get her out as fast as you can to keep the momentum going", or "Don't take her out to parties, or other guys will try to sleep with her, hit on her, or get drunk and spill all of your secrets". " You need to have a sexual edge, otherwise you will get friend zoned". Or stuff like, "You shouldn't bring her around your friends until you've had sex with her because it will be harder for her eyes to stray to the next guy". The thing is though, I'm not trying to have a sexual edge because that would not be congruent with my beliefs (obviously). Also, this is a Christian event and none of the guys there will be trying to sleep around, plus there will be a lot of kids from youth group (I'm friends with the youth leaders) there, so there will be no alcohol etc. Also, I've never told anyone anything personal at all so I'm not worried about that coming out.
