I get the obvious parts. I need to find my mission, which I am working on formulating and moving toward. I need to get in better shape and up my style game. I need to pursue fulfilling hobbies that make me more appealing to others. Gotta improve my finances. I need to eliminate junk free time usage. All these things make sense to me, even if implementing them is tough.
What doesn't make sense to me is how I can foster a group of male friends. My fear is being jacked with pimpin' style, solid hobbies, and solid progress toward my life career and mission, but without friends.
I am a college dropout working crummy jobs, trying to claw my way up toward fulfillment. I am good at approaching others, but deeply insecure and terrible an translating approaches to companionship, especially with men. I am essentially alone. I want to improve my social life sooner rather than later.
Happy to elaborate, short of self-doxxing.
Book suggestions are welcome.
