My husband and I have been anticipating a visit from one of my adult step daughters for several weeks now. Back history...Last year around Christmas both adult step daughters flew up to spend a week with us. One was sick with a cold. I got sick and so did the other step daughter. When they were younger they stayed home when sick-at my request. We called on Christmas Day with Merry Christmas greetings. It would seem that my step daughter is once again sick with a cold. I mentioned a few weeks ago to please take some Airborne or Emergen C so this would not happen and mentioned that I didn’t want her to have to cancel due to illness. She didn’t let us know, my husband refused to tell her to stay home since she is sick. I got mad, we argued and now she is on the way and we are both emotionally upset.
