Trying to keep this brief so forgive the sloppy summary. In 2017, I caught oneitis for a girl. Ended up asking her out a few times. What went from no's and us still spending time together, turned into her saying yes, saying "I miss you/wish I could be with you right now" texts.

Hiking, movies, diner, concerts, all turned into the regular once a week. The girl knew how I felt deeply, and I even made her cry a few times with a gift or two. We were never official though or anything past just me asking her out on a date every so often.

End of 2018, I made a move on her that she didn't like. She ended up saying it wasn't a date. I then pulled out my phone and showed her all the times she asked ME out on a date and vice versa. It was clear as day, what my intentions were. Both of us acknowledging that we were going on dates. The move freaked her out apparently. She sat there in the car silently, and I said, "Why would you do that?" No response from her though. I just spend 200 bucks on her dinner, and she just left the car and went inside.

10 months later (October 2019). The girl has applied to MY job. I have to see her, and work with her. I don't interact with her. She occasionally asks me questions, on how to do things. I usually just glance at her and give an one word answer with no emotion. I haven't talked to her at all besides those encounters.

It sucks because I still have feelings for her. I miss seeing her laugh, her saying she missed me, etc. But I feel used too, almost as if she never cared about me in the first place, even though she's asked me out several times too.

Am I doing the right thing?
