Long story short I got with a woman that just broke up with her husband of 20 years after catching him cheating. I guess he was the true alpha male here. I found out a lot more much later by third parties but they broke up. Looking back I think she was having a break down or using me as a rebound. She later said we won’t be anything more than fwb. I was a simp. She doesn’t know anyone in the US and he had her in order, completely dependent on him, so she didn’t talk to other people. She has become the opposite with me as you’ll see. She felt abandoned afterwards, so I took on the role of helping her rebuild. Obviously I know this mistake now, I guess. Although morally right, I see now how women don’t work by logic. Anyway during this time of course I got oneitus as it felt let “we” were building.

We kept having sex on and off but she started the pullback as you can predict. Due to her religion and she’s living with family, she isn’t with anyone else but has now decided she don’t want to be as close anymore or do those things anymore. Our whole thing was built on her making the first move. When we first met I was in her car (co workers) and she was talking/crying about her ex taking everything and evicting her, then she pulled my dick out and it went from there. I was surprised tbh it’s like a switch went off mid convo.

Now she’s investing in her religion and pulling back sexually. She tells me she wants a man but has to be of her faith or there will be issues with family so it can’t be me. I know it’s a lie, she’s just crazy and don’t know what she wants. It changes each time to the guy has to make as much as her ex, the guy has to have a house like her ex, the guy has to.. pretty much be her ex I guess. She’s telling me how she’ll kill herself if the( eventual) guy of her faith isn’t as nice as I am tho. Yay. I realize this isn’t going anywhere but she begs me time and time again to remain friends.

I still had onitus so I went along with it for as long as I could then started to pull back because i got bored. Eventually she gives in for sex and regrets it. This continues she says just to keep me happy but she complains about religion more and what will happen to her due to having sex.

Over time she starts doing other things because she doesn’t want to have sex anymore and I pulled back. I even start to block her on social media but I realize she has multiple accounts already following me. she’s added me and at least 3 per platform so she can always keep in touch with me. It’s kinda odd so I gave up. At this point I don’t even care but she surprised me with a big ass hdtv. I know she can’t afford it but i take it anyway. She now calls me over and cooks me full course breakfast or meals. She buys me things when she can now like dress pants, socks, shoes. She won’t give sex anymore and think we both should move on but she’s still fighting to keep me as a friend by buying me things or doing things for me. She tells me all her big milestones like when she got a raise or when something big happens. She tries to text me good morning/good night. I am not sure if she is still having a breakdown by doing these things as if in her head I am her husband but can’t officially be one??

Right now I feel like I don’t even have the energy for women anymore after this. I don’t want to talk to see her anymore i legit lost even my oneitus I feel nothing now but am I passing up a good thing? While she’s doing this stuff she still brags (unrealistically) about what kind of guy she hopes to get..at the same time deep down she told me she know she’s at her wall. idk if listening to that makes me a simp, emo tampon, or what because at the same time she is giving me something or otherwise providing a reason for me to be around her to listen to that crap. If I turn down these free things wouldn’t that be stupid too? Should I continue to be her friend as long as she’s giving me these things??
