Porn addicts aren't worth it IMO not even if they're in recovery, cause there is always that risk of relapsing and it's not worth the drama. If they want to stop the porn they can. It doesn't have them at gunpoint it's not that hard to give it up.

It's a real shame that women are taught that struggling through relationship issues makes "successes all the more sweet." The problem is that men don't seem to have the same attitude, and they don't seem to want to put in the effort, even when the issue is their fault to begin with. Five bucks says OP's husband is barely trying to get his addiction in order.

My NVM ex and I had a similar pattern. He brought baggage (and lies) to our relationship, and I ran in circles trying to make things work. I thought we'd magically get to the end of the road and have a perfect relationship, making our struggles worth it. Turns out the dude wasn't even putting in a bare minimum of effort, a fact I found out the weekend I dumped him. He had all the power to change our relationship for the better, but here I was, running myself ragged trying to make it work. Never again.
