Don't ever argue with women at work; they take everything personally. It's one of the main reasons women earn less, they prioritize feelings/saving face over truth.

Be submissive to her demands, but also document everything in email, so there's a paper trail of her overriding your choices and screwing everything up.

I feel you on this one my G. I'm in Paris working in a big corporate too and the "Boss" is a woman.

I hate getting orders from women. Call it what you wanna call it. It is what it is. A male boss is still a man and we can argue but at the end of the day it's all professional and "logical". Still managable...

With women like some guys said : it's all personal ! And they start little wars which is irritating.

I'm out at the end of the week since it's only an internship i'm doing. But it's a good experience, i know now that i don't want no bitch around me in my next job.

People you don't like will be there wherever you go. If not right away, someone new could come in after some time that you don't like.

As you said, you haven't been there long. I would say, from your end, do your best to get along at least for a while longer. Jocko Willink talks about dealing with people you don't like. It may prove useful. Generally, it's an ego battle, being humble may lead to a resolution.

If things are actually that bad, then line something up, and leave in peace. Don't burn bridges.

Pretty stereotypically female-dominated field. Get used to it.

The person above me is a woman and we argue a lot on stupid simple design things and she can’t understand my PoV and can’t accept when she’s wrong and she keeps arguing a lot and I hate it.

That's because your PoV doesn't matter at this point and she's right to treat you that way until you've earned respect.

You're not being paid to have an opinion at this point.

It won't matter until you're promoted into her position or a similar one.

She's your superior. Unless she's asking you to do something unethical or unprofessional, your job is to do what she tells you.

She's been there much longer than you. She knows what the editor-in-chief likes and what they don't. She knows the workflow better than you. Just because you wanna do things your way and can't be told you need to do things their way, doesn't change the fact.

If you can stop arguing like an ignoramus for a minute you might actually figure out how to do your job and how things work around there.

You are the only one responsible for this.

More specifically, for not getting your point across, having a conflictual relationship with your boss, not gaining your boss's trust, not doing what you need to be doing at your job, putting your ego above being smart and professional, how you act and feel, complaining and trying to prove you're right instead of fixing things and finding solutions.

You need an ego check. 99% of what you said is your own fault, not your boss's. People like you, who argue over decissions, make the work environment difficult for others. I see this a lot in design work, designers act like they are a picasso and their boss is spilling coffee over their work. Just do your fucking job, play the game, stop being a bitch and stop creating conflict.

Ps - The best and only good thing you can do now is go to your boss and apologize for the tension, let her know you want to finish the project as how SHE sees it fit, and actually mean it. But you won't do that.
