This question is mostly for women since this term is mostly used in relation to them but men can answer as well. I have a question about sexual objectification what exactly counts as sexual objectification and how is it any different from sexual attraction. I know what the defintion is but I have search online but no one has given me an answer for the difference between attraction and objectification. I also saw something on r/TwoXChromosomes related to this about a guy staring at one of the members at the gym and a lot of the other women their were calling it sexual objectification and ultimately sexual harrassment, I thought that was weird because the according to her the man didn't say anything to her(well he asked her out while she was leaving) or touch her, so how does it count as sexual harrassment because I feel that it was rude at worst.
