Jokes aside QC35 are pretty shit at filtering out human voice Sony MX4 would be best for that but even those have limited effectiveness since noise cancelling is mostly intended for continuous noise like fans and engines.

Of course, that's not how they work. Ambient noise coming from all directions around gets cancelled - its still possible to hear everything being said quite clearly. But nice idea. Probably work better by using the 'quiet comfort' of a set of walls without a woman in proximity to quiet that particular noise.
