You don't have to text her like a simp all day, but if you cancel a date, you confidently need to set the next one. Otherwise, no shit she thought you weren't interested. Especially if you haven't talked to her since.

As for why she told you she had a date? To make you jealous obviously. That she is in demand and to prove "if you want her, seize the opportunity which you have not done".

Keep in mind abundance. You mentioned it's been awhile, but you need to develop the mentality that you can move on quick. If you have 5 girls of equal or better hotness blowing up your phone, how would you treat this one?

Move and act confidently. Set dates. Act with purpose. Don't limp dick your intentions.

It was mostly over when you cancelled and didn't reschedule. If she was down and you passed on her even with a valid reason she thinks non interest and moves on.

But yea I'd say it's leaning to done with the whole "I have a date tonight" line. When a girl is interested the last thing she'll bring up is another dick.
