My boyfriend and I have agreed to be bf/gf (I asked him) for 6 months now. However, besides being exclusive with each other and going on dates, chatting etc., I don't really know how we're bf/gf. He still doesn't think the time right for us to meet each other's families yet, he said it's something you do when you're in a more steady, long-term relationship. Maybe our values are different? I've given his family small gifts (like fruit and small snacks), but I don't trust that he's ever actually told them that they're from his girlfriend. I don't know. Something just doesn't sit well and I can't shake it off.
