Now this mostly applies for guys that are still average like me, not too many good pics, no shirtless pics, normal height (5’11, still considered somewhat below average in the Netherlands) and a decent/good looking face. I’ve made a dating app female account as a 5/6-10 in my eyes, normal looking, 2 pictures, 1 from the side and 1 of front with glasses on, the girl didn’t have large boobs or tits, and wow. The results were shocking. Within 30 minutes I had about 500-600 likes, and could not keep up with the open chats anymore. Next to this the MAJORITY of the guys are pretty much beta. Double texting, compliments, go for sexual stuff, but even if you talk like a normal dude, you still wouldn’t make a chance if within the next 5 minutes you’re buried probably 30-40 chats under, unless ofcourse you have very solid pictures, good looking body etc. Sometimes I thought, is it me? Until I made a fake account. Especially with covid now everyone is at home using the apps. So for us average guys out there, keep grinding in the gym, and try to (cold) approach more whenever you can, because the apps are a shitshow atm.
