I've always been quite into my music, enjoy engaging in hedonistic behaviour such as staying out all night, going to clubs/raves, drugs etc. However, I don't just live for weekends, I have goals and a career I am trying to build so I know when to draw the line.

As soon as a cute girl comes along that's into me and shares these interests, I get way too attracted to them because my ideal LTR would be someone that shares similar interests, is spontaneous and has the same idea of fun as me. All other girls I may be interested in suddenly seem boring and I don't want to pursue them.

The issue is that a large proportion of these girls have a shady past, low impulse control, high n-count, ride the carousel most weekends etc. etc.

I just recently met this girl exactly like that, and have already gotten oneitis. We've banged on 2 separate occasions and had an intense time together, and now she seems to have gone off the radar since this weekend after previously appearing really keen. I know she was out partying this weekend so I imagine she's gone and done the same thing with somebody else.

Anyone else experienced something like this? How do I approach this problem?
