I've been on the pill for a couple of years now, shifted my entire life. Now I could confidently say that I could land an HB8 if I really wanted to, and I have had that happen. However, I've realized that getting with an HB8 is much much more difficult than getting with an HB5 that saw the goof you once were, or had friend-zoned you before you changed.

It seems that the first impression a girl has established is a semi-permenant one. I've seen even HB4s keen on rejecting me or ''bro zoning me'' because my whole transformation seemed like a joke to them. In their eyes I'm the same socially awkward person they friendzoned a couple of years back, and almost no amount of holding frame from my side seemed like it could change that.

I have yet to figure out what's at play here? Is it that they are so self-righteous and egotistical about their decisions that they can't allow themselves to regret labeling me incorrectly? Is having a history of being a socially awkward geek leave an impression that is simply impossible to overlook? Or is some form of biology at play here?

I may not really care about HB5s anymore, but seeing that those who's rejections were the very essence of what drove me towards this massive change downplay my transformation simply annoys fuck out of me.
