I have been spinning a plate that I knew was in the area I was visiting for my break (my old school). We talked a bit, flirting over text (only for logistics) and all that. The problem was is that my reputation at that school is high and she is known for basically being a CC rider. Long story short, people found out, pieced together we were talking and basically harassed/constantly asked about what we were doing and basically making her hamster run. I invite her over and we drink and talk. Before she leaves, I go for a kiss but she apologizes and says the “slut-shaming” has been messing with her mind. Wanting to avoid a rape case and not wanting to seem fussy, I said a firm “Ok, I understand” and closed the door behind her. Later that day she says shes sorry and was shy and assumed that we didn’t have to do anything (which I did say, but for plausible deniability). Was this my fault or out of my control. Curious for tips/observations on what to do different next time.
