You know, I'll give her credit for doing actual work on herself. If she actually lost weight, learned new hobbies, got a good job, etc. that's real improvement. Most women who say they "work on themselves" mean they cry to their enabler girlfriends about how all men are pigs, then watch stupid romcom reruns while downing buckets of ice cream.

But that's the only positive thing in this whole piece. Her whole "we are not compatible due to various things" is self-justifying BS. If he was truly a bad guy, she'd say so. Instead, she says both guys were "great connections, lot of attraction, same long term goals, great dates/sex". If all of that is great, whatever incompatibilities remaining are pretty superficial. IOW, in just a few months of OLD, she found not one, but *two* guys that were great matches, checking off all the boxes that are actually important to a healthy LTR. And yet, she threw them away because of some stupid shit (maybe he laughs at different jokes than her? I don't know), and sits there and moans about not being able to find a guy.

Secondly, as she gets older, the tide is turning. She has to actually pursue some of these guys now, and can't just sit back and pick and choose. She's getting a small peek into what it's like for a guy to get out there day after day facing rejection after rejection if they want to have any hope of finding a partner. And just that small peek is enough for her to lose all hope and go back into her shell.

At the end of the day, despite making actual improvements to herself, she's bitching about the slight amount of extra work and risk she has to take while pursuing love. She still has an easier time than 99% of guys, finding *two* great matches in just a few months of OLD, but it's nowhere near the level of attention she used to get when she was younger, so she's on a site bitching about how difficult it is for her. Pardon me as I pull out the world's smallest violin...

Regardless, she doesn't realize she's standing at the edge of a cliff. She's still able to attract decent guys who would make great partners. Maybe not as many as before, and maybe with a little more effort than she's used to, but she's still finding them. If she doesn't grab one of them soon, she will find the bottom fall out of her market value. At that point, she'll be wishing guys like the ones she's still rejecting were interested in her...

Also to further add, her claims of meeting someone compatible after she lost her weight, found hobbies, got a job, yadda yadda, are usually bullshit because her purported increase in quality is more often than not insignificant in comparison to the guy she claims to be compatible with. She thinks just because she's no longer a fat whale but now a flat plank, she thus is equal to someone with the body of Jason Momoa.

She's only 32, she's still got a chance. I'd take her, assuming she still looked okay and wasn't annoying. I'll be 40 soon. 32 is about as old as I'll go because I only date to potentially marry and have kids at this point (yes, I know, I'm dumb).

Ah, but I'm probably 1 inch too short, 1 year too old, or need to make just $10k more to be on her radar. Also, I enjoy quiet evenings at home most of the time as opposed to needing constant entertainment. Even worse, I don't have any tattoos! That basically makes me undateable.

I'm 30 and it's delightful to see all the women of my age who I have known since school days smashing the wall harder than the speed of sound and crawling back to me and the other 'nice guys' now that Chad doesn't want them anymore, they act like and seem to truly believe that we owe them stability and money LMAO, I have spread enough red pill knowledge around that none of said nice guys will date any or them that I am sure of, I had a good laugh looking at this sub in the last but now it echoes with my real life experience and it's even more delightful hahaha

Another sad one that I can't laugh at, much as I want to and much as I try.

She is doing everything she has been told to do. She has taken the time to read self-help stuff and she has swallowed it all- just like she swallowed the cocks she was told to enjoy in her teens and 20's. She probably got the exact gender studies or English degree she was told to pursue and went after the guys who excited her that she was told to consume.

When she runs into trouble her first move is NOT to blame men or complain about how hard women have it. NO! She loses weight! She has taken up hobbies- an amazing thing for a woman, really!

Her problem is that everything she was taught was and is a lie.

First, men want YOUNG women, with minimal problems, and entanglements.

Second, they want women who are happy, pleasant, loyal, submissive, and sexually available.

Third, they want healthy weight women who have more going on than a potted plant.

Your therapists and self help books have told you to exclusively focus on the 3rd most important thing for men.

The most important thing is already destroyed. There are no second chances for her.

The next most important items are inconsistent with "jaded" and "cynical." The exact opposite, in fact. She SHOULD be working on maximizing what works for her. That is, she should work on being happy, pleasant, and helpful- and when she gets a partner (and she will) to be loyal and sexually available as well. She should be working on showing gratitude and demonstrating awe and wonder. Doing this would have the added benefit of letting her appreciate the qualities of some of the "lesser men" who she so delighted in rejecting no so long ago.

Instead, she focuses on not being a potted plant and expects that to attract the same caliber of guys who have been screwing her silly for the last 15 years.

It won't. Can she adjust her expectations, learn gratitude, and be happy with a "lesser man." Not bloody likely.

Some people exist to serve as a warning for others: Ladies! Once your youth and innocence are gone it is gone and years of "therapy" or even a vaginoplasty are not going to put jack back in the box; put another way, you can lose weight, and run and get all the hobbies you want but it is not going to attract a better man than you could have got before your box got jacked.
