There are no good men around, and even though she is stronk and independyt she needs the rest of society to subsidize her shit choices in life and pick up the bills for her outstanding education that makes her so much more valuable than every other American. So while you pay all your tax money to subsidize banks and communist professors, she just has to pay a small portion of her income for the rest of her life. As I get older(24) and find subs like these, I get more conservative over time. Before finding subs like this, I was a liberal. I probably identify as a moderate liberal now.

Financially irresponsible people like this is the reason why I agree with conservatives. If I'm busting my ass to pay off my debts, everybody should too. This chick is leeching off the system and hopes that someday big daddy government is going to wipe away her student loan debt. That's not going to fix the core issue here. It's her spending habits that is the issue here, not her debts owed.

Student Loans: $712 (This is taken directly from my paycheck through wage garnishment. I have $220,000 worth of private student loans which ballooned with interest, and a monthly minimum payment of over $2,000. I can't keep up with payments, so I'm in default and they take 10% of my gross pay. TBH, I don't mind it that much. It's better than paying $2,000 into a bottomless pit.)

Hate to break it to ya, but based on my calculations, you're digging yourself into an even bigger hole. You think throwing $2k ( and thats your minimum payment!) is a bottomless pit, wait till that $220k turns into $300k or even $400k, maybe then you'll think $2k a month towards your student loan debt wasn't so bad after all. But of course, who cares? She defaulted. She's paying $712 instead of $2k! More money in her pocket right?! Maybe if she majored in Finance, she would've understood simple math, that paying $712 isn't going to get her out of this hole.

Imagine being the simp to marry this chick up. Surprise! I owe $220k in student loans! That's if she finds one and marries one today. By the time( if ever) she finds Mr. Right, her debt would probably be around $300-400k.

But she's 29. Her looks are fading. If she can't snag Betabucks today, she will never get that student debt looming over her head to ever disappear.

She says that she's a server. Lead server at that. So I assume that she got that job based somewhat on her looks. Once Trump's border Wall™ is coming, I don't know how long she'll hold onto that job. Especially when she's training her new co-workers who may someday take over her role, when she starts looking like your average street hooker in NYC.

One side note I must make, every time someone mentions their yearly earnings, I always must know where they are living. Based on this article, she technically makes more money than me, but where does that money go? Her cost of living alone is far greater than the area I am living, and I can guarantee that my living space is a lot larger than her's.

This is why I do not understand the hype of living in a place like NYC. Making more money does not mean much if that money does not give you the benefits of that increased dollar amounts.

While the $220,000 in student loans is an obvious major issue, the other thing to consider is her credit card debt. Sure, it is more or less paid off right now, but she mentions that she accrued it to keep up with her student loan debt. This is an indicator that the loans she took out for higher education were never going to be sustainable, since she was financing those costs with something that had even greater interest rates (real smart move there). All of this debt to become a server.

I think she would do herself a favor to just accept having a roommate, and she would cut her costs of living significantly. Yeah, that might suck, but so does having a heaping pile of debt that was so unsustainable that you now have your wages garnished. If only she, along with many other clueless young people, thought things through before accumulating debt. No parents should default tell their kids to go to college if there is not a clear path in what they are going to do afterwards. This includes getting a worthwhile degree that will get you a job. Since she is a server, that clearly did not happen.
