The rise of sexbots is but a reaction to the current state of modern relationships. Too many women offer very little for a man when it comes to a relationship, and men are getting less in return. While it is not in common use yet, the fact that it is getting notice and condemnation from various groups tells me that there is concern among those who protest sexbots.

For those who are truly high quality (~~applying this to both men and women~~ Edit: high quality men should not be concerned with sexbots, but for different reasons. They could get a high quality woman rather than a sexbot, so they would not likely be concerned with sexbots. But indy, that may change as well. /edit), there is little reason to be concerned with sexbots. The only way you lose to a sexbot is if you are worse than the alternative. A woman that keeps herself in good shape, is pleasant to be around, contributes to a home positively (e.g. knowing how to cook a good meal, making efforts to upkeep a residence), is receptive to a her man's advances, and capable of providing love is not the type that would need to worry about losing to a sexbot. Rather, it is the low quality woman who has to worry. Whether she is only able to offer the same thing as a sexbot or even worse, has negative aspects that make her a net negative on a man's life, she may find herself losing to an inanimate object.

Also, many of the first users of the sexbots are more likely than not the type of guy that has little success with women in the first place, so those men are not going to tilt the sexual market place when they were not successful participants in the first place. However, when they check out completely, it will mean that that they will be far less likely to put any effort into providing unreciprocated aid to women, so women who use orbiters may notice that they are not getting the same special treatment they used to receive. And perhaps more men will follow as women get worse. This is just speculation, but with the fears that others are expressing, it may be pointing to a possible outcome.

That's the point, for me at least. Women's "love" hinges entirely on what you provide her (sex, status, money, labor, protection, etc.), and is almost never worth more than a sheet of toilet paper. Not only is it fleeting and highly conditional, but she won't ever express that love with as much affection, sex, and devotion as you want, because she loves what you provide, not you yourself. These bots would actually give you that selfless, deep, devoted love and affection that women are inherently incapable of for anyone but their children, and sometimes not even then. Women are shit, so men are making better versions.

Women should be afraid of sexbots.

As someone else said, the early adopters are going to be so called "low quality" men, but even those guys are often orbiters or at the very least white knights and the like. Women will see less and less of that. More importantly, those guys are going to prove that there's a market and provide the funding to advance these things rapidly to the point where the so called "high quality" men will also want them. That's when the entire dating and relationship scene will be completely changed.

At the end of the day though... It's very, very telling when women are honestly afraid of competition provided by inanimate bits of plastic and rubber.

There may come a time where a Sexbot comes with an incubation chamber and you can just buy an egg from a beautiful young woman looking to make extra $$$, so if you actually wanted a kid (and didn't care about being a single dad cause fuck it, that bot will look after that child better than a human woman ever would) you could literally shop from the thousands of gorgeous, smart, educated ladies and you could even program your sexbot to look/sound/moan like her if you wanted.

The year is 2030. Thots are canceled.
